Michael Sparks Associates were the architects for this modern facility, strategically located to enable the occupier to enhance its last mile service in East London. The scheme exceeded the development agreement with the GLA and requirements in the London Plan through the incorporation of sustainability features, including an EPC A+ (carbon neutral) rating through photovoltaic cells, and sensors within the building to manage the environmental, energy and plant performance. The new facility offers a sustainable and flexible addition to the SEGRO Park Newham development, which is being delivered as part of the East Plus initiative between SEGRO and the GLA.

The project achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.
