AMAZON, TILBURY

Work commenced in September 2015 on the new Amazon fulfilment centre at Tilbury. This innovative, multi-level distribution centre will accommodate up to 204,820 sq m (2,604,280 sq ft) of floor space, and will include extensive amenities for staff as well as a four level car park. The completion date will be September 2017. Michael Sparks Associates masterplanned development, worked with the occupier to develop the brief, and provided architectural services for all the work stages, including the occupier’s fit out works. The team used building information modelling (BIM) throughout the design process.
