Michael Sparks Associates were the masterplanners and architects, both for the developer’s build and the fit-out for the occupier. The building accommodates 34,203 sq m (368,165 sq ft) of highly serviced manufacturing facilities for Meggitt, who are a major supplier of components to the international aeronautics industry, as well as 6,856 sq m (73,805 sq ft) of head office floor space, and brings together, under one roof, several operations which have up to now been scattered across the globe. The project includes full welfare facilities for staff, and incorporates a photo voltaic installation which supplies a substantial proportion of the power requirement for the building.

BREEAM ‘Very Good’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings were achieved for this project.
