Working alongside SEGRO plc, Michael Sparks Associates delivered a scheme comprising six warehouse/industrial buildings with fully fitted out offices, external service storage yards and car park.
Allowing for flexibility, the scheme was a speculative development and needed to satisfy the needs of medium-sized businesses who were either already located in the borough and seeking modern purpose-built premises, or those wishing to locate in this vicinity. Ocado leased Unit 1, with a 6,352 sq m (68,383 sq ft) internal floor area, with a purpose built unit for John Lewis on the frontage.
The units achieved an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.
