PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED FOR EXEMPLAR SCHEME
The former Nestle site has recently received planning permission for a joint venture between Barratt London and SEGRO PLC to provide a mixed use development with 1,381 new homes and 22,700 sqm of employment space.
MSA has worked closely with the housing architects and the scheme includes new cladding systems, retention and restoration of the eastern Truscon elevation of the original Wallis Gilbert Factory, and extensive improvements to the Grand Union Canal.
The scheme has been described as exemplar by the Greater London Authority seeing the intensification of both housing and employment in close proximity, and we expect the employment buildings to be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
