MSA have secured detailed planning consent for clients PLP at their 17 acre development site, Smithywood Business Park, in Sheffield. The permission includes the erection of a single 343,000 sq ft logistics unit including 17,400 sq ft two storey offices, erection of a gatehouse and formation of site access, provision of car parking, service yard and landscaping works.

PLP will speculatively develop the property, which will be one of the largest warehouses in the Yorkshire region. Construction will commence this year with completion in Autumn 2020.

Smithywood Business Park occupies a strategic location immediately adjacent to Junction 35 of the M1 motorway, Sheffield. The site therefore benefits from excellent links to the motorway network as well as in to Sheffield city centre, approximately 5 miles to the south, and Leeds to the north.
