SP RAINHAM, PHASE 2

Following the commercial success of Phase 1 of the industrial development at SEGRO Park Rainham, practical completion has been awarded to Phase 2, a speculative development of five new units between 11,000 and 36,000 sq ft in size, totalling 109,000 sq ft, that represent an enhancement in design and innovation.

Michael Sparks Associates were the master planners and architects for the site and the developer’s build that offers a sustainable, innovative, and flexible addition to SEGRO Park Rainham and the East Plus portfolio, an initiative between SEGRO and the Greater London Authority.

The scheme has achieved carbon neutrality and integrates a number of sustainability features that will improve employee wellbeing. Living green walls inside the reception and office areas, and external ‘pocket park’ amenity space allows employees to take a break from the work environment. Other features include photovoltaic roof and wall panels, smart electric car charging points, and incorporation of contactless taps and foot openers within toilet accommodation. The above features will help to achieve WELL ‘Core’ accreditation.
